Toxins - How they can affect you
Parasites
There are many different types of parasites and the most pervasive can cause diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, wind, loss of appetite and nausea etc. More Information >
Heavy Metals
There are countless heavy metals, for example lead, cadmium, nickel, mercury, chromium, arsenic, aluminium, iron, platinum, copper, that can contaminate the body via airborne pollutants such as petrol fumes, and other routes such as mercury fillings, orthodontic braces, tattoos, piercings, canned food and drinks, some fish, lead and copper water pipes and smoking etc. (To link to websites with more information, search for ‘heavy metal intoxication in humans’)
Some of the symptoms that intoxication by heavy metals can exacerbate are sinus problems, migraine headaches, skin complaints including itchy skin with no rash, flaky skin, excema, dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, itchy ears, sore and itchy eyes, mouth ulcers and fatigue etc.
Yeast
Yeast can build up in the gut when dysbiosis occurs, i.e., a lack of friendly gut bacteria usually as a result of use of antibiotics, the contraceptive pill, HRT, anti-inflammatory/steroid medications, long term prescriptive medications and stress. Yeast can ferment in the gut causing bloating, wind, belching, gurgling, fatigue, constipation and/or diarrhoea etc. It can also exacerbate skin conditions such as excema.
Fungus and Candida Albicans
This can also be due to an imbalance of intestinal flora, www.doctorfungus.org, and also the molds from compost heaps, mouldy fruit, crops and bread etc. Any number of symptoms can manifest, from dry, itchy flaky skin, dandruff, thrush, athletes foot, coated tongue to digestive, respiratory, sinus problems and fatigue etc. The difference between yeast and candida, fungi and molds is that they are treated most successfully when treated independently.
Bacteria
There are many types of bacteria, www.bacteriamuseum.org, that can cause infections and acute illness in the entire body and are generally treated with antibiotics, when necessary, but sometimes bacteria are persistent and don’t fully respond to mainstream treatment and sometimes re-infection occurs.
Helicobacter Pylori (H. Pylori)
This is a bacterium found in the digestive system that only recently was found to cause ulcers. It can also produce symptoms such as acid reflux, heartburn, digestive pain or discomfort, nausea, vomiting and can cause chronic constipation or diarrhoea. Many people with H. Pylori will never suffer from the symptoms but may pass the bacteria to others.
Viruses
There are many different types of viruses that affect the system in various ways, e.g. colds and flu, glandular fever, mumps and measles, respiratory and eye infections, viral hepatitis and dengue fever etc. Like bacteria, viruses can stay in the body for months or even years.
Geopathic Sress and Electomagnetic Stress
Some of the signs that could indicate that you may be suffering from the effects of GS and/or ES can be: insomnia or restless sleep, grinding of teeth, sleeptalking, sleepwalking, nightmares, buzzing ears, headaches, palpitations, exhaustion, short fuse, hyperactivity in children, children bedwetting, babies crying continuously at night, tingling in the arms or legs or slow recovery from illness.
