The Test – and follow up
The test format has been refined to cover as many areas as possible, and takes into account that it is far less beneficial to test for endless foods and allergens without firstly attempting to determine WHY the body is reacting to them and to narrow the focus accordingly to those allergens that typically cause such a reaction .
A detailed medical history is taken, i.e., history of operations, procedures, medications, sleeping patterns, type of work, stress, diet, supplements, how long the symptoms have been present and family history of allergies if appropriate.
The initial test takes about an hour and a half.
Then, using the Vegatest Expert: Testing is carried out to establish what toxins are present and where they show up in the body and to consider what treatment may be appropriate.
- An Organ stress test is performed to establish to what degree the toxins are affecting the system.
- A test for dysbiosis - lack of friendly gut bacteria – is carried out.
- A test for digestive enzyme deficiencies which can lead to vitamin mineral or trace element deficiencies and what can be done to rectify this is then carried out.
- Finally, testing for the trigger foods and food additives then takes place to establish in detail which of these are causing the symptoms or making them worse.
The following four weeks will be spent avoiding the offending foods and taking the recommended remedies and supplements.
